I was always interested in documentary photography when I was young, but it wasn’t until years later that I really took the camera into my hands. After trying all kinds of shoots, I always came back to making portraits and capturing a story or emotion. Weather in a beauty or fashion sense or simply trying to capture strong portraits.

As I have always been interested and intrigued by the story behind a face, my style is that I try to make portraits that reveal something about that person in front of my camera. Often the undertone is revealing strength and confidence. Empowerment, but also a hint of softness.
